NUMBERED MARKERS CAN BE SEEN ALONG THE OLD ROAD THAT IDENTIFY VARIOUS SIGNIFICANT HAWAIIAN LANDMARKS INCLUDING, PETROGLYPHS, PLANTS, RUINS OF THE DAMON ESTATES, AND TRAILS LEADING UP TO TRIPLER RIDGE. AS WITH MOST VALLEY TRAILS EXPECT TO GET YOUR SHOES WET AS THIS ONE WILL HAVE YOU CROSSING THE MOANALUA STREAM APPROXIMATELY 42 TIMES.

ALTHOUGH NOT TYPICAL IT IS SAID THAT PU'U KEAHI A KAHOE CAN BE REACHED FROM THE SUMMIT OF THIS TRAIL.
