DESCRIPTION:  PU'U OHULEHULE IS AN AGGRESSIVE SCRABBLE TO ONE OF THE MOST PROMINENT PEAKS IN WINDWARD OAHU. THE ORIGINAL SOUTH-EASTERN FACING TRAIL USED TO ARRIVE AT IT'S SUMMIT IS CONSIDERED ONE OF THE MOST DANGEROUS ON THE ISLAND AND IS NO LONGER USED. THE SAFER VARIATION SHOWN HERE BEGINS IN KAHANA VALLEY AND ASCENDS THE NORTH-WEST FACE OF THE MOUNTAIN.

 

AT THE TOP OF PU'U OHULEHULE IS AN IMPRESSIVE VIEW OF KA'AWA VALLEY AND A 180 DEGREE SCENIC VIEW OF THE WINDWARD COASTLINE.
